About ParkPod

ParkPod is a community app for dog owners: check in at dog parks, join a small group ("pod"), and see when your group's dogs are out to play. ParkPod is available as an iOS app and as an optional text-message (SMS) service.

Text Message Service Terms

Opt-in: You enroll in the text-message service by sending the first text message to our number. Texting our number is your consent to receive replies and group notifications by SMS. We never send messages to a number that has not texted us first, and no one else can add your number.

What you receive: Replies to your commands (such as checking in or out of a park) and notifications from your own group - for example, when a group member arrives at a dog park or schedules a playdate.

Message frequency varies based on your group's activity. A daily message limit applies, and messages are not sent late at night.

Message and data rates may apply. Standard rates from your carrier apply to messages you send and receive. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opt-out: Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for help. You may also reply MUTE to pause messages temporarily, or DELETE to remove your dog's profile and your data entirely.

Acceptable Use

Be a good neighbor: no harassment, impersonation, or unlawful content. Dog names and messages visible to your group must be appropriate. We may remove content or suspend service for misuse.

Service Provided As-Is

ParkPod is a free community service provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Park information and member activity are user-reported; use your own judgment at parks. We may modify or discontinue features at any time.
